ATLANTA — Robert Tucker isn’t quite done with high school, but the end is very much within sight.
On Wednesday, before a meeting with SEC Country, the three-star tight end took his last final exam at B.E.S.T. Academy.
On Thursday, he’s off to the Georgia AA state track meet at Jefferson High School, where he’ll compete in the shot put. Tucker, who didn’t begin throwing until earlier this spring, has a personal best of 45 feet, 1 inch. Among the competitors in the meet Thursday, the best throw is 49 feet, 5 inches.
The 6-foot-3, 240-pound three-star tight end will graduate May 27 from B.E.S.T. Academy . A day later, he reports to South Carolina.
