October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the South Carolina football team is ready to play its part.
On Saturday, the Gamecocks will rock pink wristbands, socks, gloves and helmet visor clips when they host Vanderbilt in interim coach Shawn Elliott’s debut.
South Carolina’s game is being nicknamed the “Power in Pink” game.
Wearing pink equipment is most commonly done in the NFL, but it’s promising to see those in the collegiate ranks helping to spread awareness, as well.
