Two South Carolina women’s basketball players are reportedly turning pro days after the Gamecocks won the national title.
According to the AP’s Doug Feinberg, junior guards Kaela Davis and Allisha Gray will give up their final years of eligibility and declare for the WNBA Draft.
Both Davis and Gray are eligible as they will be 22 in the year of the draft and can choose to return before Saturday.
The Gamecocks won the program’s first national title on Sunday against Mississippi State.
Davis transferred to South Carolina from Georgia Tech, while Gray came in from North Carolina. They each played for the first time this season, contributing to the efforts as South Carolina won the national championship.
Gray averaged 13.2 points per game this season and Davis averaged 12.7 points per game.
