COLUMBIA, S.C. — Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Tim Tebow made his way to the South Carolina practice facility on Tuesday to watch the Will Muschamp Football Camp.
The former Florida standout is in the area for personal matters, but he took some time to watch Gamecocks offensive coordinator Kurt Roper work with the quarterbacks at the Tuesday camp session.
Tebow shared his thoughts on South Carolina’s first-year head coach.
“I think Coach Muschamp is a really good coach,” he said. “I think he’s probably learned a lot from his experience at Florida. It will be interesting to see how they do. I think they’re heading in the right direction.”
Tebow works for SEC Network, including being part of the Saturday pregame show that travels to a different school each week, so this might not be the last time Tebow is here in 2016.
