The newest episode of ‘Live PD’ featured an appearance from the 2016-17 SEC basketball Player of the Year.
Former South Carolina star Sindarius Thornwell was questioned by Richland County Sheriff’s Department lieutenant Danny Brown on the A&E show, who moments prior pulled over Thornwell’s girlfriend for speeding, according to the Post and Courier.
Thornwell, fresh off signing a three-year, $3.8 million deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, was on his way to a party which his girlfriend took issue with, as she had articles of his clothing in the back of her car while chasing him.
When Brown approached Thornwell in his new Porsche, he told the 6-foot-5 shooting guard that he looked familiar and asked where he worked.
Thornwell had a coy response.
“I don’t even have a job,” Thornwell said.
Funny stuff considering the Clippers shirt he was wearing.
Brown shook Thornwell’s hand, said it was nice to see him and mentioned if he needed anything, to not hesitate to call.
The lighthearted exchange ended with the two laughing about the incident. Brown wise cracked to the camera as he was walking away that he figured it was a “crazy girlfriend or something.”
Brown departed still befuddled as to Thornwell’s identity as he returned to his squad car.
