It’s been a difficult season for South Carolina fans, and emotions boiled over for one avid supporter last weekend.
South Carolina put the cherry on top of a disastrous season in an embarrassing 23-22 loss to The Citadel. After seeing his team fall at home to an FCS opponent, one fan was overcome with grief.

There was no comforting this disgruntled fan, and for good reason. The Gamecocks are in the midst of their worst season since they went 0-11 in 1999, Lou Holtz’s first season. Coach Steve Spurrier retired midway through the season after a 45-24 loss to LSU. South Carolina finished 1-7 in conference play, with its lone victory coming against bottom-feeder Vanderbilt.
