This is why coaches don’t teach hurdling. It’s just not for everyone.
South Carolina lost a close game to Kentucky, 17-10, at Commonwealth Stadium on Saturday evening. And that should be punishment enough.
But we’re going to call the Gamecocks out on an additional embarrassment from the Saturday night loss. South Carolina tight end Hayden Hurst attempted to do what many football players are trying these days as an alternative to running around or through a defender– hop over top of them.
Not only is that an extremely athletic move, it’s also a really risky one. And while this one didn’t end up as a turnover or an injury, it did make people giggle in delight and shake their heads (depending on their rooting interest).
