LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Gamecocks dropped to 2-2 on Saturday with a 17-10 loss at Kentucky.
USC struggled to stop the run and had just as tough a time running it.
“Thought we kinda got some things going there in the second quarter,” coach Will Muschamp said. “Felt good going into halftime. Defensively, we really struggled to play blocks up front and to hold point against people. That’s something that’s been a reoccurring theme.”
The Gamecocks return to action at 4 p.m. Saturday against Texas A&M.
