South Carolina’s second Gamecock Walk this season will be a bit more crowded than the first.
South Carolina’s athletic department and coach Will Muschamp invited all former lettermen to take part in the Gamecock Walk on Saturday prior to USC’s game against Texas A&M (4 p.m., SEC Network).
“We’ve got great traditions here at South Carolina,” Muschamp said on his weekly radio show. “One of the very unique things we have is Columbia. A lot of our former players live here in Columbia. To be able to reach out to those guys within your own city is awesome.”
Lettermen wishing to participate are asked to meet former players Moe Brown and Courtney Leavitt and assistant Gamecock club director Kendall Belk behind the premium south area in Gamecock part no later than 1:15 p.m.
The walk takes place at approximately 1:40 p.m. when the team buses arrive at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The lettermen will follow the team to Williams-Brice Stadium as part of the traditional Gamecock Walk.
