COLUMBIA, S.C. – Will Muschamp still is mum on his quarterback plan for Saturday’s game against Massachusetts.
The South Carolina coach was asked if he plans to play freshman quarterback Jake Bentley on Wednesday’s SEC teleconference, which prompted a stock answer.
“We have got a good plan going in for Saturday as far as our quarterback situation is concerned,” Muschamp said. “We’ve repped all three guys and we’ll see what happens Saturday.”
In other words, Muschamp is not about to tip his hand and say he is going to play Bentley. On Tuesday, he discussed the the quarterback situation, but also did not name a starter then.
He also said that is the plan Sunday night.
