With South Carolina’s Garnet and Black Spring Game in the books, it’s time to make some major field repairs to Williams-Brice Stadium.
The stadium is undergoing a $995,000 field renovation that will feature a new drainage system, irrigation and a new sod, according to The State.
Don’t worry, Gamecocks fans: Renovations are expected to be finished by July and the field will be ready when camp opens in August.
New coach Will Muschamp will roam the sideline of a brand new field when the Gamecocks play their home opener on Sept. 17 against East Carolina.
