Another Tennessee player called for targeting and ejected
Brian Randolph just became the second Tennessee defensive back to be called for targeting and ejected in consecutive games.
The senior safety hit South Carolina receiver Pharoh Cooper high during a pass play that was nearly intercepted by cornerback Justin Martin. Randolph made contact with his shoulder to Cooper’s helmet, and appeared to arrive late. Randolph was immediately flagged for a late hit and targeting.
