KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee’s margin of defeat to Alabama was historically bad, the worst since a 51-0 loss in the Tide in 1906, and even the Neyland Stadium grounds crew seemed in a salty mood.
SEC Country beat writers Mike Griffith and Jesse Simonton recapped the Vols’ 49-10 loss to the Crimson Tide, putting the defeat into perspective.
Some commenters were upset, wanting changes at quarterback and offensive coordinator, but there was some evidence there was far more to the story than just subpar playcalls and play.
