Tennessee fans are not happy with head coach Butch Jones and the Vols so far this season, and they’re not hiding those feelings.
On Wednesday night, during the Memphis Grizzlies’ home opener, another plea for Jones to be fired made it on television. Take a look:

That’s just brutal, but it’s far from the only example of Tennessee fans asking for change. On Thursday morning, a local grocery store joined in on the action. That’s on top of numerous examples of media speculation that Jones wouldn’t make it through the season.
Tennessee is coming of an embarrassing 15-9 loss to South Carolina in which it failed to score a touchdown. The Vols had multiple chances inside the red zone in the game’s final seconds to win the game, but couldn’t pull it off. Tennessee also has losses to Florida and Georgia this season, putting them firmly outside the SEC East race.
Next up for the Vols is No. 1 Alabama, who is currently a 36-point favorite to win the game. Assuming a loss, Tennessee would move to 3-4 on the season with tough matchups at Kentucky and vs LSU still to come. If the Vols drop to 3-6, it would need to win its remaining three games — vs Southern Miss, at Missouri and vs Vanderbilt — just to reach bowl eligibility.
