One of the great Tennessee running backs of the last 15 years has decided to hang up his cleats.
Arian Foster, who spent time with the Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins, announced his retirement from the NFL.
“There comes a time in every athlete’s career when their ambition and their body are no longer on the same page. I’ve reached that point,” Foster said on UNINTERRUPTED.

Foster has struggled with injuries in the final few years of his eight-year career. Foster’s 2015 season was cut short because of an Achilles injury. Foster also had been battling a hamstring injury in recent weeks for the Dolphins. Foster played against the Bills on Sunday and had 3 carries for 5 yards.
Foster ran for 2,964 yards and added 742 receiving yards in his time at Tennessee from 2005-08. Foster, who led the NFL in rushing in 2010 with 1,616 yards, finishes his pro career with 6,527 rushing yards.
