Former Tennessee quarterback Riley Ferguson will be starting for an FBS program in 2016.
Ferguson, who left Tennessee in the summer of 2014, will be the starter for the Memphis Tigers this season, according to the Commercial Appeal’s Tom Schad.

The junior quarterback played last season at Coffeyville C.C. in Kansas. He signed with Memphis as the nation’s No. 1 pro-style JUCO quarterback, according to 247Sports. He threw for 2,942 yards and 35 touchdowns at Coffeyville in 2015.
The Tigers open their season Sep. 3. They will play Ole Miss on Oct. 1.
