Binjimen Victor has committed to Ohio State.
The four-star receiver from Coconut Creek (Fla.) High School announced his decision at noon via Twitter. He chose the Buckeyes over Tennessee and West Virginia.
“Going through this process was very tough for me but at the end of the day I can only further my college career at one school,” Victor wrote. “For the next four years I will continue my academic and football journey at THE Ohio State University.”
Victor’s decision is yet another instance in which Tennessee missed out on an all-important receiver for its 2016 class. It is unclear if Victor simply spurned the Vols or if the two parties made a mutual decision during his official visit last weekend.
The announcement was somewhat abrupt as Victor informed everyone via Twitter that he had made his decision early Monday morning. The 6-foot-4, 177-pound prospect was scheduled to take an official visit to Florida this weekend.
Victor is the No. 12 receiver in the nation and the No. 15 prospect in Florida.
