There’s little probability Tennessee is looking past its game against Florida and focusing on Georgia. But these two games could be the most important consecutive games for the program in nearly a decade.
Undefeated and No. 14-ranked Tennessee is attempting to break an 11-game losing streak to Florida.
But a win could put the Vols in position to end another streak that has hindered the program in the last decade. Tennessee hasn’t won consecutive games against ranked opponents since 2007. Following its game against No. 19 Florida, Tennessee will play Georgia, now ranked No. 12.
