It’s a two-way race between Notre Dame and Tennessee for one of the top uncommitted prospects out of the state of Tennessee.
Donte Vaughn, a 4-star cornerback from Whitehaven High School, confirmed to SECCountry.com that he’ll be deciding between Notre Dame and Tennessee on Oct. 12.
The 6-foot-3, 192-pounder, who has reported 17 offers, is rated as the state’s No. 7 player overall. He’s long been considered a heavy lean to either program and the recent news comes as anything but a surprise.
Vaughn confirmed to SECCountry.com that his second and final official visit will be to Tennessee on Oct. 10 for its game against UGA. He took his first official visit to Notre Dame on Sept. 5.
