Joshua Dobbs is a busy man.
When he’s not playing football, he’s often practicing with Tennessee’s baseball team, visiting with state legislators, traveling to see presidential libraries or working with high school football players, as he did during The Nike Opening Regional Camp on Sunday. However, Tennessee’s senior quarterback took some time out of his schedule Monday to visit a very special fan.
After hearing from a fan from Morristown, Tenn., Dobbs visited with Riley Ripley, an 11-year-old girl, who suffers from the same condition that Dobbs has had to deal with throughout most of his life: Both have Alopecia, which causes hair loss. The video by WATE reporter Stephanie Beeken is truly touching.
Tennessee returns to the practice field on Tuesday after taking last week off for spring break. The Orange and White game will be held on April 16.
