Allen Iverson is enjoying a big weekend in Knoxville.
On Friday, the soon-to-be Basketball Hall of Famer appeared at an AAU benefit Friday hosted by former Vols guard Bobby Maze. On Saturday, Iverson made his way to Neyland Stadium for Tennessee’s Orange and White Game, where he met football coach Butch Jones.

In all, 67,027 fans attended Saturday’s scrimmage. Fomer South Carolina and Florida coach Steve Spurrier was on hand, too, and received the Robert Neyland Award, presented in memory of Tennessee’s all-time coaching wins leader.
“Anytime you can bring back a Hall of Famer to talk to your football team about playing for each other and working to be the best that you can possibly be, I know our players enjoyed it,” Jones said. “I’m very grateful for him to come by and spend a little time with us as well.”
