The Biggest College Football Game Ever will probably look pretty small from these seats.
The Knoxville News Sentinel’s Grant Ramey took a picture from Row 13 of the Wallace Tower section of grandstands at Bristol Motor Speedway. Those are the seats with the highest altitude for this week’s Battle at Bristol between Tennessee and Virginia Tech. They also might be the worst seats possible.

Thanks to the width of the track, the distance between the top row of seats and the field is even greater than at a normal football stadium. Combine that with the height of the seats, and viewing the game from the top row becomes even less ideal.
The Wallace Tower contains 5,000 seats, none of which were part of the allotment given to Tennessee or Virginia Tech. They are part of the 61,000 seats that Bristol Motor Speedway is selling independently.
The game is supposed to draw as many as 150,000 spectators. However, if any end up in this section, they might have trouble actually spectating.
