Tennessee may be without one if its top players this weekend against Texas A&M.
Running back Jalen Hurd did not practice on Thursday and is not expected to play in Saturday’s contest, according to 247Sports’ John Brice.
Hurd left last Saturday’s game against Georgia in the third quarter with a “lower extremity injury,” but was back on the field for Tennessee’s final kickoff return before its miracle Hail Mary completion.
Vols coach Butch Jones said Hurd was “day-to-day” during Wednesday’s SEC teleconference.
The junior back has 407 rushing yards and two touchdowns one the year.
