Landon Dickerson’s official visit to Tennessee was reportedly a hit this weekend. The four-star offensive lineman from South Caldwell High School (Hudson, N.C.) told 247Sports that the Vols are ranked among his top two schools, along with Florida State.
“It’s like they took the best parts of my four other official visits and put it into one official visit,” said Dickerson, according to Ryan Bartow of 247sports “It worked out well.”
Dickerson is rated the No. 4 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 2 prospect in North Carolina. He has also taken official visits to Florida State, Florida, Auburn and Alabama. He is one of the highest-rated prospects remaining on Tennessee’s recruiting board.
While Florida State has long been considered the leader for Dickerson, the 6-foot-5, 297-pound prospect has said he’d prefer to stay close to home to play college football.
