Report: Tennesee RB Alvin Kamara likely to leave early for NFL draft
Alvin Kamara has been a revelation for Tennessee this season, but the Vols may have to move forward without him after 2016.
Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller reports that the redshirt junior running back is likely to forgo his senior season in Knoxville and enter the 2017 NFL Draft.
Miller incorrectly noted that Kamara has played well since Jalen Hurd left the program. Kamara has not played since Hurd announced he was transferring last week.
However, Hurd’s decreased role in Tennessee’s offense before his transfer did lead to more touches for Kamara before he suffered a knee injury against Alabama.
