A Tennessee offensive lineman reportedly underwent emergency appendectomy surgery.
SECcountry.com confirmed that senior Coleman Thomas underwent the surgery.
Coach Butch Jones said Thomas is doing well, and he will be out a week to two weeks.
The Vols are four practices into spring drills, which will conclude on April 22 with the annual Orange-and-White Game at Neyland Stadium.
Coleman is a 6-foot-5, 301-pound athlete from Max Meadows, Virginia. He played in 10 games with eight starts for Tennessee last season. He was on the preseason watch list for the Rimington Trophy.
