The team’s Twitter account released photos of the new shoes, which are custom-made from Kevin Durant’s Nike KD9 collection:

Barnes coached Durant during his one season in college basketball at Texas in 2006-07. Durant was an All-American and helped the Longhorns to the NCAA Tournament, where they were upset in the second round. He became the second pick of the NBA draft by the Seattle SuperSonics, later becoming the 2014 MVP for the Oklahoma City Thunder after the franchise moved.
Durant joined the Golden State Warriors this season and will open the year on Oct. 25 at home against San Antonio.
