LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Shanon Reid’s football journey started when he was 5 years old in the flag football ranks, and in less than a month, it will continue when he enrolls at Tennessee.
Reid, a 6-foot-1, 207-pound outside linebacker from , chose the Vols after they placed a priority on him during the recruiting process.
Tennessee is looking for impact players in the 2017 class, particularly on defense, and Reid will join Miami Southridge defensive end Deandre Johnson as a candidate for immediate playing time.
SEC Country met with Reid and his family in their home near Fort Meyers on Sunday, and Reid opened up about his football career and the recruiting process.
