KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee will be an underdog for the first time this season when it travels to play Texas A&M in College Station on Saturday.
The No. 8-ranked Aggies (5-0 3-0 SEC) opened as a 6.5-point favorite over the No. 9-ranked Vols (5-0, 2-0) according to VegasInsider.com, and they’re a 7-point favorite according to BetOnline.ag.
Tennessee is 2-3 against the spread this season, failing to cover the betting line in its wins over Appalachian State (20-13, -21.5), Ohio (28-19, -27) and Georgia (34-31, -3.5).
The Vols are riding an 11-game win streak, which is the second-longest active streak in the nation behind Alabama’s 17-straight victories.
