Tennessee basketball guard Lamonte Turner continues his hot shooting from 3-point range during the Vols’ exhibition games in Europe.

Turner helped lead the Vols to a 77-69 win Monday over the Valencia All-Stars at the Pavelló Municipal d’Esports in Spain by making six 3-pointers and scoring a team-high 19 points.

Freshman forward Derrick Walker scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, while sophomore Grant Williams added 10 points and 9 boards.

Tennessee entered the second half trailing by 11 points, but Turner made five of his 3s in the half to lead the comeback.

Turner’s shooting helped give Tennessee a 59-52 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Valencia cut the lead to 61-60 at the 6:35 mark of the final quarter.

Williams made the game-winning plays to seal the victory. The 6-foot-5, 234-pound forward made a post-up layup and followed that basket with a blocked shot. He then assisted on a basket to junior Kyle Alexander to give Tennessee a 5-point lead.
