KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Receiver Princeton Fant announced on Twitter that he has “officially” committed to Tennessee’s 2017 class.
The athletic receiver out of LaVergne High School in middle Tennessee was heavily recruited before picking the Vols over LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Miami (Florida), among several others.
Fant, in Knoxville on Saturday for the Vols “Orange Carpet” recruiting day, joins celebrated teammate Maleik Gray in Tennessee’s 2017 class.
Tennessee receivers coach Zach Azzanni was Fant’s primary recruiter.
The 6-foot-2, 208-pound target is ranked as the No. 17 player in Tennessee and No. 525 in the nation.
Earlier Saturday, South Carolina defensive end Tre Lawson pledged to sign in the Vols’ 2017 class.
