Here it is. …
A Sweetwater, Tenn., man was charged with extortion for sending snapchats to a women under the alias of Tennessee football player Cameron Sutton, according to a report from WBIR.com’s Mark Bergin. The 22-year-old Tennessee native used the name, “Camsutton2323” while trying to extort money from a woman, who believed she was communicating with the senior defensive back, per Bergin.
Authorities reportedly released a statement saying Sutton never actually conversed with the women himself, and that he was unaware of the man’s impersonation. The investigation is still ongoing, but Bergin reported that a law enforcement officer said Sutton was a victim of criminal impersonation.
The real Cameron Sutton will be starting his fourth season at cornerback for the Vols in 2016, coming off a season where he amassed 28 tackles and an interception.
