Tennessee completes junior college signing day with trio of signees
There will be no surprises for the Vols on the first day of the junior college signing period.
Tennessee received its third set of signed scholarship papers from receiver Jeff George, a 3-star product out of Dodge City (Kansas) junior college on Wednesday morning. Tennessee secured George despite a late push by Auburn.
The Vols also signed his teammate, cornerback Desmond “D.J.” Henderson, and defensive tackle Alexis Johnson from Fort Scott (Kansas) Community College earlier Wednesday.
No more junior college, mid-term enrollees are expected to sign with the Vols. The rest of Tennessee’s class can sign on National Signing Day (Feb. 3).
