Tennessee extends scholarship offer to Vanderbilt commit
Tennessee has extended a scholarship offer to Vanderbilt quarterback commit Alontae Taylor, according to his Twitter account.

The sophomore dual-threat quarterback from Coffee County Central High School (Manchester, Tenn.) committed to Vanderbilt in October. However, his Twitter account doesn’t reflect as much. The 6-foot, 175-pound prospect’s account features a picture of him with Tennessee sophomore kick returner Evan Berry and junior cornerback Cameron Sutton.
Taylor is currently rated as the No. 8 dual-threat quarterback and No. 5 player in Tennessee in the Class of 2018.
Looks like an in-state recruiting battle has begun.
