KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee coach Butch Jones held his final game week press conference Monday, and while he didn’t divulge much, he did share his concerns.
Jones said he wants the Vols to get off to a fast start, but also, that he spent a great deal of time teaching the team how to finish out games.
Tennessee kicks off against Appalachian State at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Neyland Stadium in a game that will be televised by the SEC Network.
Here’s what the Tennessee beat writers had to say about the game, when the starters might get pulled and why Josh Dobbs might not rush for as many yards this season.
