KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee football seniors have their final game at Neyland Stadium in sight, and so do a few NFL-ready juniors.
Josh Dobbs has yet to write the final chapter in his book as the Vols quarterback, but it’s a safe assumption the Alpharetta, Ga., product will be remembered among the program’s greats.
That will particularly be true if Dobbs can lead Tennessee football to its first SEC Championship Game appearance since 2007.
The next step for Dobbs and his teammates would be a win over Missouri at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday in Neyland Stadium.
The Vols’ fans need some good news on the football field, because the men’s basketball team looks to have a tough road ahead.
Tennessee beat Appalachian State on Tuesday night, 103-94.
But Coach Rick Barnes made it clear there’s plenty of areas the team needs to improve.
SECcountry.com’s Mike Griffith and WNML’s Josh Ward discussed those topics along with the latest news on junior college defensive tackle Jonathan Kongbo on today’s podcast.
