If you looked at the Class of 2019 player rankings, you would see Tennessee targets Quavaris Crouch and Darnell Wright at the top of the list.
The Vols have done a great job getting into the conversation with both these prospects.
Wright, one of the best tackles in the class, took another unofficial visit to Rocky Top on June 1. He’s been a frequent visitor since the Jeremy Pruitt era began. The continual visits are important, but his official visit in the spring is what this could all come down to.
Wright doesn’t plan to make a decision anytime soon, so there is plenty of time for Pruitt to keep working on him.
Crouch likely will play linebacker in college but he could very well be a running back. He could be nearing a decision, with an announcement coming this summer. Tennessee has been in the mix with him since Pruitt took over as well.
WMNL’s Josh Ward and SEC Country’s Blake Morgan discuss the recruitment of both prospects and where Tennessee stands with both on Rocky Talk.
