The Brandon Kennedy saga with Tennessee has underscored how driven coach Jeremy Pruitt is to rebuild his roster in a hurry.
Pruitt has brought in junior college players and graduate transfers to make an impact this season. Defensive tackle Emmit Gooden and tight end Dominick Wood-Anderson are from the JUCO ranks and will push for starting jobs in the fall. There’s a chance that Kennedy, a center, quarterback Keller Chryst and running back Madre London all start as grad transfers.
Pruitt has never done a lot of losing at any of his stops at the college level. He has shown creativity in transforming the roster on the fly.
WNML’s Josh Ward and SEC Country’s Blake Morgan discuss Pruitt remaking the roster and give some recruiting updates.
