KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee 2017 signees Jacquez Jones and Jordan Murphy have met their academic requirements and will arrive at UT on July 6.
Both players will enroll for the second summer term, which begins July 10, according to a source with knowledge of both players’ standing in the program.
Jones, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect from Clearwater High School in Florida, is expected to contend for playing time in the slot and as a return man.
Murphy, a 6-1, 185-pound prospect from Hattiesburg High School in Mississippi, will compete for playing time on the perimeter.
Tennessee will finish the fourth and final week of the first block of supervised strength training next week.
The team will be off the week of July 4 before finishing with three more weeks of strength training leading up to the start of fall camp in August.
