KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee’s position battles continue to play out, and there are plenty heading into Week 2 of the spring session.
The Vols’ quarterback battle, between Jarrett Guarantano and Quinten Dormady, is the most notable.
Coach Butch Jones has said there’s no timetable for the quarterback duel, but that’s not necessarily the case at other positions.
Tennessee had its first spring practice in full equipment on Saturday, releasing a video of some of the hitting and scrimmage, with drills picking up again on Tuesday.
There’s still plenty of room for players to move up or down the depth chart on the offensive and defensive lines, both of which are largely unsettled.
The linebacker corps is not set, nor is the secondary.
