ATLANTA — Tennessee football has several rivals, from Alabama, to Florida, to Georgia and now South Carolina and Vanderbilt have intensified after last season.
But ask any player, and there’s nothing quite like playing against the home-state school, and playing in your hometown or home state, for that matter.
No. 25-ranked Tennessee plays Georgia Tech at 8 p.m. ET on Monday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The game will be televised on ESPN.
It will be a homecoming for several Tennessee players, as the Vols have always recruited Atlanta and the Peach State thoroughly.
