WATCH: Tennessee football gets 2018 commit from Clarksville CB Shatar McClay
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee added another recruit to the 2018 class when Clarksville cornerback Shatar McClay announced on Twitter he intends to sign with the Vols.
McClay is a 3-star recruit from Northwest High School, ranked as the No. 44 player in the state.
Indiana had also extended a scholarship offer to McClay, whose primary recruiters at Tennessee were defensive backs coach Charlton Warren and Walt Wells.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound McClay is the fourth commitment for Tennessee in the 2018 class, all from within state lines.
The Vols other 2018 commits are:
• OT Cade Mays, 6-5, 327, Catholic, Knoxville, TN.
• ATH Alontae Taylor, 6-0, 182, Coffee Country Central, Manchester, TN.
• OG Ollie Lane, 6-5, 285, Gibbs, Corryton, TN.
