Tennessee picked up a commitment for its 2017 class when De’Morreal “Mo” Burnam decided he wants to join the Vols.
The 6-foot-2, 216-pound linebacker announced his decision on Twitter shortly after the Vols held a junior day for 2017 prospects on Saturday.

The three-star linebacker from Salem High School (Conyers, Ga.) chose Tennessee over reported scholarship offers from North Carolina, Florida State and Louisville, among others.
He is the lone commitment for Tennessee in the Class of 2017. The Vols have had a few other players in this class committed, including quarterback Hunter Johnson, wide receiver Tee Higgins and defensive lineman Jordon Riley, but they have all since de-committed.
Burnam is rated as the No. 34 inside linebacker in the country and the No. 98 player in the state of Georgia, according to the 247Sports composite.
