KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The kickoff time for Tennessee’s final home game of the regular season has been announced.
The Vols (6-3, 2-3 SEC) will start their game against Missouri (2-7, 0-5) at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised by CBS.
Tennessee plays Kentucky at noon on Saturday in what could prove to be a pivotal SEC East Division showdown.
The Vols can win the SEC East Division if they win out AND Florida loses to either South Carolina or LSU in its final two league games.
Coach Butch Jones is 3-0 vs. Kentucky, and Tennessee has won the past four and 30 out of 31. The Wildcats are looking for their first winning record in SEC play since 1977.
The Vols have not been as successful against the Tigers.
Tennessee beat Missouri last season, 19-8, but the Tigers won the three previous meetings by scores of 29-21 (2014), 31-3 (2013) and 51-48, OT (2012).
