Tennessee player earns rave reviews from Tim Tebow
Tennessee cornerback Cameron Sutton earned some love Saturday from former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow on the set of ESPN’s SEC Nation.
Tebow named Sutton this week’s Freak of the Week, noting that Sutton can squat 535 pounds, bench press 355 pounds and broad jump 10 feet, 4 inches.
“At 5-foot-11 and 187 pounds, Cam Sutton shows you don’t have to be big to be a freak,” Tebow said.
Vols fans also probably enjoyed Tebow comparing Sutton to another player from his former university.
“Everyone talks about (Florida’s) Vernon Hargreaves and how he is the best cornerback in the country, and he is really good,” Tebow said. “My man Cam Sutton has given up less catches this year than Vernon Hargreaves.”
SEC Network’s Tim Tebow selects Tennessee cornerback Cameron Sutton as the Week 6 Freak of the Week.
