Perhaps Joshua Dobbs will eventually take a vacation. It might be his first.
The Tennessee quarterback didn’t let the end of the season lighten his load. In addition to his much-talked-about pursuit of an aerospace engineering degree, the rising senior practiced with the Tennessee baseball team and met with state legislatures recently.
Tennessee baseball coach Dave Serrano said Dobbs spent four days working out with the Vols, but now he is “back to football”, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.
So then it was off to Nashville, Tenn. Dobbs participated in “UT Day on the Hill” as he met with state representatives and senators Wednesday. However, judging by some of the pictures, they were happier to meet Dobbs than vice versa. Several donned Dobbs’ jerseys during the visit.

Dobbs also made time to have his picture taken with Hannah Robison, who was crowned Miss Tennessee in 2015.

Dobbs is well known for his offseason work ethic. He’s often worked with individual trainers and provided coaching at football camps. Dobbs has a little longer to explore other interests. The Vols don’t open spring practice until March 7.
