Alvin Kamara appears set to return for his junior season. The redshirt sophomore had been considering an early exit to enter the NFL Draft. However, his latest tweet seems to point towards a return to Tennessee.
“Welp,” Kamara wrote. “Another year of this college football thing on rocky top.! What y’all think”
That means the most significant Vols in question all returned for at least one more year of college football. Junior cornerback Cameron Sutton and junior linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin also announced they would return for 2016. However, junior Marquez North surprised the Vols with a sudden decision to reportedly leave school and enter the NFL Draft despite a lackluster season.
Kamara carried the ball 107 times for 698 yards and 6.5-yard per carry average this season. He also caught 34 passes for 291 yards.
