The future of Tennessee’s defensive line continues to gain strength with the second commitment in the Class of 2018 this week. JUCO defensive end Dorian Gerald announced via Twitter he will be committing to the Vols.

Gerald visited Tennessee on June 7 and tweeted he’d “be back without a doubt,” and looks like he will.
The rising sophomore for the College of the Canyons in California rates as the No. 2 defensive end in the JUCO class and No. 10 prospect in the country.
Gerald grew up in South Carolina before going to junior college on the other side of the country. South Carolina posed the biggest threat to the Vols landing Gerald.
Tennessee currently holds defensive lineman commitments from Brant Lawless, D’Andre Litaker, Jamarcus Chatman and Greg Emerson. The Vols have a total of 16 commitments for the Class of 2018.
