Dixon, from Butler, Ga., rates as a 4-star running back and the No. 6 all-purpose back in the class and No. 307 prospect in the country, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
Dixon visited the campus and saw Knoxville last week on Orange Carpet Day. He held notable SEC offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia and LSU.
The 5-foot-10, 177-pound back becomes Tennessee’s 13th commitment this cycle and the first prospect from the Peach State. Tennessee’s Class of 2018 ranks No. 8 in the country and No. 2 in the SEC.
