Tennessee students were surely thankful to see Tennessee’s 11-year losing streak against Florida come to an end Saturday.
Not only has the streak ended, but there is some monetary and beauty benefits to the victory as well.
Well, that is if you like coach Butch Jones’ haircut.
To celebrate Saturday’s 38-28 victory, the Tennessee School of Beauty is giving away free Butch Jones style haircuts until Sunday, Oct. 8, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel’s Maggie Jones.
“Our students want to celebrate Butch Jones and join in the excitement of the Vols snapping their losing streak against Florida,” said Tennessee School of Beauty owner Adam Brown, per the report. “This is a big moment for the team and for fans. We look forward to giving a lot of ‘Butch’ cuts over the next two weeks.”
Students can get these haircuts from 9:15 a.m.-9:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday and Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday.
These will not be any rookie haircuts, as coach Jones’ barber, Nate Farmer, reportedly visited with the school of beauty on Tuesday to teach them the “Butch” cut.
